this is what history feels like

What an incredible election! If you have not watched Obama's acceptance speech you must. What an incredible historic event and deeply moving speech. One of my favorite quotes...

"And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of our world - our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand. To those who would tear this world down - we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security - we support you."

YAY! i am very glad, let's see how it develops but the change by itself is already a great thing.

I fell asleep right after he won Ohio (I'm such a loser!), but I listened to his speech this morning and my heart swelled with so much pride and hope for America. The next four years are going to be amazing. Yay us! :D

I am hopeful, but skeptical. I hope Obama fulfils all of these incredible promises that he has made. I hope he is really as much of a beacon of hope as he seems to be.

But I'm scared, terrified, that he will disappoint.
